I has been take break from practice on build on a old rod, well gotta 3rd guide wrap complete, now want get on computer and take a look at some of my favorite shimano cruical rods, i have been take a look at curical crankbait models
i wonder anyone who has a cruical 7'11" med/light crankbait casting rod that range 8-15 lb and lures 1/8-1/2 oz and if anyone that has 1 can u measure the tip and the blank what do it compare to medium ? there is 2 7'11" on cruical line up in crankbait Med/Light and Medium action but i'm trying to take a look at med/light with fast action.. and would like to curious if any of company might copy or make a same blank as shimano cruical has ?? like mhx or batson but i have check it out nothings about med/light on long crankbait rods any suggest might help me find compare to med/light with fast action but i not want a extend on just want a normal born new long med/light rod, i love to throw a small crankbait as bomber A fat or a mann's farther with long launcher crankbait with good fighting control. in our area in wisconsin are SMALLMOUTH BASS COUNTRY and i cant live w/o the brownies they are trying to broke your arm when it hit Josh Re: who has it

Josh, i would suggest you contact Bill Stevens. He can recommend some of the castaway blanks and is familiar with most of the types of bassfishing rods used. he should be able to help you understand the type of blanks you need for the type of fishing you are doing. Bill is very knowledgeable( just ask him.....lol) and can help you in your search. Sorry, only registered users may post in this forum.
