Making my Wounded Warrior Rod.turn my grips w/oak wood finished up great.Fitted everything in place.Have pictures on my facebook page.
All is lookin good.Glue grips and reel seat on all is good.....happy as a pig in mud!!!
Build my winding check with rod build.got nice ramps...looking good so far..
Doing a underwrap of red, white and blue then gonna use silk to tie the guide on w/no cp to make the thread dissapear.
Put Cp on the underwrap and is good...happier than 2 pigs in mud holes!!!
Waiting for cp to dry.checking out rod grip and reel seat....WHAT oh NO...plus a few more words
I have put the front grip on upside down(its split grips).

Well what now????????
Leave it or fix it.
Keepin mind its glued and winding check ramp made w/rod bond. Also I dont have anymore wood that matches the other ones.
I used matching pieces of wood.the grain in going the same and matches.
The handle feels good cuz the big side is down and it dont try to pul out of your hands...its a catfish rod.
oh well !!!

If it feels good, call it custom and be proud.

File for patent, trademark, do marketing - State of the Art, Leading Edge Technology, Exclusive, Testimonials, Tournament Winning, Ergonometric - INCREASE PRICE BY 17.34 PERECNT! Sell concept to production builders - Apply volume discount! Build more rods!

Then the final Coup de Gras - add to the claims - CASTS 21% FURTHUR!

Like the man says "any publicity good or bad is good"

Take a pill and giggle!

New configuration on the handle- it does help me cast about 10% to 20% further and more accurately. (Your claim to fame on this handle)

Again best words I saw "CALL IT A CUSTOM" and leave it alone.
Am willing to bet not many will notice if you don't say anything
Just my $0.02 worth.
