I wanna say it is the guide for the thread coming off the spool going onto the blank through a weight at the bottom for tension? If that is wrong, It is either a round tuit or a catnip thingy. Matt Smith Greensboro, NC Re: Accent wrap with metallic

Mike this kind of thread starts many wheels turning -
Remebmer Jesse's wreck after the show - Take a look at the Rodbuilding Shop built in a Tackle Box I delivered to him while he was still in traction in the hospital. The entire think folded up in the Plano box - Jesse could do a "fancy wrap" on the stand for all to admire while laying in bed! [www.rodbuilding.org] In two weeks Jesse was giving rod wrapping lessons while in physical therapy! This stuff means a lot to many! Gon Fishn Edited 2 time(s). It is a Nail knot tool. Place Green thinging on blank Wrap the number of threads over top of tag end. Insert other tag end into hole and pull out under the wraps. Snug up and trim. Rolly Beenen Rovic Custom Rods Re: Accent wrap with metallic

Rolly I will ask Lance to find something very special! The medical use is for ENT specialists - ear wax removal tool! Opens the ears of rodbuilders who choose not to listen! Edited 1 time(s). Last edit at 07/13/2010 07:33PM by Bill Stevens. Re: Accent wrap with metallic

Awwww!!! I saw ear wax tool on google images and almost put that down, but a) I thought you meant it's use in that photo, and b) I thought it looked too big for that. Argh...lol. Ah well it was fun playing anyway :) Matt Smith Greensboro, NC Re: Accent wrap with metallic

Rolly's prize -
Will be sticking an extra blank in with your order of War Clubs for the Far North! Sorry no ice fishing blanks as yet! One XP3 874 Blank The Castaway XP3 874 blank is a true treasure in the hands of a custom builder seeking versatility for building task specific rods for tournament as well as recreational bass fishermen. This 7'3" multi modulus blank was designed by bass fishermen using concepts that provide a truly unique rod blank that is "dead on target" for several task specific techniques. The XP3s 874 is rated for 10 - 80 lb braid with a lure weight range of 1/2 - 1 1/2 ounces. The moderate action and XH power are perfectly matched when using non stretch braid to insure proper blank loading for soft lure presentation and a hook set softness that will not "rip lips" while on the way to the boat. When "the big one" in solidly hooked the brute power of the blanks higher modulus lighter rear section "kicks in" to insure speedy fish recovery from heavy cover. The XP3 874 blank is the choice for frogs, flipping, pitching, grass, and punch. Sorry but the ear wax tool is now a thing of the past for my building - don't need trim rings no mo! Send the war clubs ASAP. Natives are getting restless.
Great prize I am certain it will be put to good use. Too hot for Ice right now except in a drink. Will have ice soon enough but Bass season is upon us now. Rolly Beenen Rovic Custom Rods Re: Accent wrap with metallic
