Gentlemen, I have the above rod in for a guide replacement. I have never heard of this rod and am wondering about it. It is 7 ft.,spiral wound with very small guides (5 mini's from tip down, same size) The rod is black extremely light graphite and very flexible. It is a casting rod , with split handle. Any info will be appreciated, just curious. Is it made by Zebco? Thanks, Gene PS there are also 4 larger spiral wound guides below the mini's.

Gene can you determine if the rod is built on a a large diameter back end S Glass blank? Is the split grip blank surface matte black, gloss black or just plain sanded grapite color?

What does the label say to identify the rod or blank - cranking?

Are you certain the running guides on bottom are 5.0? Can you tell if they are Alconite or SIC?

Rich Forhan: Interesting post huh! Looks like Gary Klein may have chosen to share the the wealth.

Click on my name in my post above and send me an email.

I have information that will satisfy your curosity about the Klein spirals.

Rich Forhan built the original rods for Gary Klein.

Rich also worked with Quantum for the set up of the production units.

I have recently been given the priviledge of rewrapping a number of the original custom builds for Gary Klein.

All the rods used by Gary are really special and fit his fishing style perfectly.
