Utra Violet drying epoxy from Expo

Can not seem to find any info on the company that was selling the uv epoxy and the drying oven from the Expo. Has anyone out there used it yet? Just curious how it performs. I would think that since the epoxy drys by uv light then it will continue to dry while in use fishing. Would this be a problem over time? I dont know. If anyone has the web site of this company I would really like to look at it again.

Epoxy Coating Co was doing it. I don't know if they are still in business. The UV epoxy is nice to use as it has no pot life, but over time it can go brittle (a couple of years) The Ovens and the UV bulbs used for curing are expensive. I was looking at about $1500 a few years back. I don't kow what the other companies may have now.

I think the Swifty Diamondite is no more.

The EOV system is closer to $400. The price continues to drop and it is becoming more feasible for the custom builder. There are pros and cons to these coatings, however, so you want to make sure it'll do what you want before investing in in.

JP Timberlake bought an "oven" from them at the Expo. I have it hear, in fact, and when JP has time to test it out I'm sure he'll be happy to give you a report.
