I got a Blue/Green blank Im wrapping and never thought about of thread color till i actaully staged the guides. Im stuck now trying to figure out what color threads to use, this blank color is really weird I can put a color combo to match the blank. What have you used, can you show some pics? I tried the metalic blue and it popped out too much, its not dark enough. I'll take a look at the aquamarine, I guess its another trip to the shop. Re: St Croix Blue/Green Flip thread colors

Just did one with NCP black with metallic green, came out very sharp.
Good luck. Re: St Croix Blue/Green Flip thread colors

I just wrapped one in teal. Haven't put finish on it yet, but from other rods I've done with teal, it should match the blank pretty close. Re: St Croix Blue/Green Flip thread colors

I got anxious and just wrapped it black with metalic gunmetal, looks OK but nothing that says wow. I tell you this blank color really throws me off. I think I stick to the SCIV blanks, the cobalt blue look so much better. Re: St Croix Blue/Green Flip thread colors
