8 n' Bait spin rod blank for boat use?

I've gotten several requests lately for a rod that can toss 8 oz of lead or more plus bait in a spin rod.
It needs to be under 7', able to toss about a pound and still be sensitive enough to feel a soft bite.
Any suggestions on a blank? Some of these guys are casting nearly a pound in combined weight with a heavy spin reel and using heavy braided line.

Calstar BT195-6. AA 78 ERN 34.6, 6' length. To put a little perspective on the power of this blank, freshwater blanks rated to 20 pounds generally fall around 15 ERN. Very sensitive tip, extreme taper all the way from tip to butt, and a fantastic heavy freshwater bait rod. Sensitive tip and chunking a pound won't fit together as far as ratings go, but the enormous backbone of this blank will get it out there. If you need more power, the Calstar BT270-7 comes in with an AA of 85 and ERN of 57. The tip isn't as sensitive as the 195, but it's not a 2x4 either. It all depends on how light you need to see or feel the bite. It's also available in a 270-6, which I expect would be almost identical in numbers. Check here for a little more comparison:

And an idea of what class the 195 and 270 fall in (scroll down to the halibut):
