I’m building an 8’8” spinning rod to cast ¼ oz. jigs long distance from a pier. I usually use Fuji BYAG Js for my stripper guides. Does anyone know of another guide series that would be taller from the blank to the ring?
Thanks
John

Those are the highest I know of, but I do not know them all. How high are the PB Minimas?

I believe the M style guides from Pac Bay are just about the tallest, I could be wrong. Here are the heights: A size 25 is listed at 55mm, 20 at 47mm, 16 at 39.5mm, etc.

I concur with Jeremy. I have them sitting on my lap and my measurements are within 1mm of advertised. You can also get about another 5mm out of 'em if you do some minor bending. They have a pretty significant back slant off the shelf. Very nice guides and much tougher than they appear at first glance. And light, light, light.
