Spline question

I messed up I glues the reel seat thinking I was gonna do a regular set up guides on top of spine, stupid me bought guides thinking ill do a spiral wrap. Can I still spiral wrap the rod or do I have to go with a regular set up? Re: Spline question

Yes! I think that most disregard the spine, I know I do Mike (Southgate, MI) If I don't want to, I don't have to and nobody can make me (except my wife) cuz I'm RETIRED!! Re: Spline question

If one was concerned with the placement of the spline, as long as the reel is still sitting on top of the spline, the placement of the guides would be immaterial as to being on top or on the bottom of the spline. The blank will still flex the same. Just another manner to come up with the same answers as all the above. I makes no difference. Sorry, only registered users may post in this forum.
