Josh,
Lots of different ways to make or have a butt cap on the end of your rod. What is your pleasure. Do you want a cork, rubber, eva, or what style butt cap - flat, button, recessed? Simply put, the butt cap is either put on over the end of the existing handle so that the cap is larger than the existing handle. A tenon is cut into the end of the handle so that a cap can fit flush or be slightly smaller than the existing handle. Or, the butt cap can simply be a flush fit on the end of the handle and simply be glued on to the existing flat end of the handle. So, depending on the type, style and your choice - you simply use a caliper to measure the butt end of the handle and go from there. Good luck Roger Sorry, only registered users may post in this forum.
