Hello Ken
There is a list of rod builders in the directory including Platte River Rods (Feff Fultz) of Denver. Just press the directory button just above your threa in black and white with a red ring around it. Good Luck and have Fun!!! Bob, New Bern, NC. Re: Rod building supplies in Denver?

I don't believe that Jeff is here any longer. Last I knew,he was in Kentucky or maybe Tennessee? Try Ricks Rods on South Huron St. He mostly has old Phillipson stuff. Old hard to find stuff, for the most part. Most rodbuilding stuff in Denver is for flyrods. I am in Aurora. Perhaps I have something you need.

Denver's such a centrally located municipality, I'm surprised that we don't have a SUBSTANTIAL custom rod building supplier. Then again, the higher tax rates and more importantly, property values (all along the Front Range) would likely be prohibitive for a business of this nature to flourish here! There aren't enough custom rod builders in any geographic area to support a substantial rod building supplier. The only way such a supplier can operate is to sell via mail/internet, or keep a few rod building supplies on hand among other general fishing tackle items.
There are a lot of rod builders in the U.S., but their density in any particular area is pretty thin. .............. Re: Rod building supplies in Denver?

I hope this is okay with Tom we have a distributor in Centennial CO I believe right off the beltway in So. Denver. He is strictly wholesale but you might ask him for a look around or a dealer in the area he sells to.

Joe, Vince also deals primarily in fly stuff. That, and the fact he is wholesale,is why I did not mention Alpine. In addition to not being a site sponsor. Valley Country Bait & Tackle at Parker Rd. and Quincy might have some items for rodbuilding though. Edited 1 time(s). Last edit at 04/30/2010 04:57PM by Chuck McIntyre.
