Where do you get the 3m grip tape like was on the Loomis surf rods? I've had a customer request it and I am not sure where to get it
Thanks

This may be the same grip tape used for golf club grips. If so, you may find it a some golf stores. Another option is to Google 3M grip tape and follow the links.

Chuck,

Most Ace Hardware stores in my area sell it by the foot in 1" and 1/1-2" widths and several different "grits".

THanks Mark, any Idea what grit is on teh loomis rods. I have personally never liked it, and have never had anyone request it until now. To rough for my liking, but to each his own, thats why we do customs...

Chuck,
The material we have is not as rough as the Loomis stuff but it has a better gripping surface to it.

Chuck, Go to a industrial supply house and ask for: 3M SAFETY-WALK #310. Been using this product for a few years now, it's the same as what your looking for. I like it. It has a textured surface, not like sandpaper. A nice alternative to cork tape. You'll have to buy a full roll. I get mine from FASTENAL CO. No special account needed, open to the general public.
