Building an Eglass blank and would like to use micros. The blank tip is almost 8/64ths and no luck trying to find a small tip top to fit that large of tip. How about using a tip top that just fits on the inside of the blank and secure with epoxy and wrap the outside?
Thanks in advance! TJB Re: Tops on the inside of the blank?

You could always split the tip's tube and then use tip glue as well as wrapping over it. Re: Tops on the inside of the blank?

I've never thought about that but I don't see why not. It's basically the same principle as gluing one on the outside of the blank. Re: Tops on the inside of the blank?

It was what we were doing with some of the smaller micro tips to make them work up to a 5 tip. Re: Tops on the inside of the blank?

you can also bend and mount a small double foot guide, wrap the two leg end on then bend the one leg end under and back so it can be wrapped. I've never done this but have read the Description and it should work Sorry, only registered users may post in this forum.
