Did my first Tiger wrap and really enjoyed it, has anyone tried to push it further? instead of twice wrapped how about three times wrapped?

Yup... It's a different look with the waves of color not as defined as two layers. Interesting effect though. Mark Griffin [] C&M Custom Tackle San Dimas, California Re: Tiger wrap X 3

I've been wanting to try that one myself (with 3 threads). Good tutorial and pics by Jim Rippe on rodbuildingtutorials.com. I'd have never though that 3 threads would look so good if it weren't for that final pic. Re: Tiger wrap X 3

You know when I first started doing tiger wraps I misread the tutorial and burnished the top wrap in different directions too!...Did this for the longest time before a friend bought it too my attention ....And I still do it that way because I love the results..More ''marbly'' looking than tree ringy (Yea I made those words up,lol)...All my tiger wraps are like that..You can view a few of them on rodbuildingtutorials.com under my gallery.
