I desperately need a rear roller for my Renzetti lathe. If anyone has an extra they could part with I would gladly purchase it . Its driving me crazy trying to wrap with broken one.

Renzetti can supply that if you contact them. Might as well order 2 in case of a future need.

I havent had any success from them getting the one I need. Looking for other options now, the down time is killing me.

There are 3 nylon rollers on the thread carriage I have broken the one on the rear. I know it is different than the ones on the front. Renzetti has provided me one but it wasn't the right one, I have sent it back and 3 weeks later I haven't heard if I can get the right one yet. I will post a pic tomorrow. Thanks.

I know the rear roller was changed to a new style a couple years ago. Are you certain the one you returned wouldn't fit? You may have gotten the newer style which is supposedly an improvement and not prone to breakage.

If you need the part in a hurry, you could always run over to your friendly neighborhood machine shope and have your friendly machinest turn a wheel out of aluminum. It will only take the machinest only a few minutes to turn on, and it will not break in the future.

Just bring along one of the same wheels off another steady rest and he can copy it and make a new unbreakable part.

Tom, the one I returned was a rear roller. The difference was the bearing O.D. my bearing wouldn't fit the roller. I gave the ID and OD of the roller I have and I asked to purchase the bearing and roller together and was told someone would call me and help me out, but still nothing.
