brass pipe/tube

I went to ACE hardware store and search somethings and i found they has a brass pipe/tube and i give a trying and bend it and it does bend little bit and i'm not sure if's a good for extend end of butt of blank or should i looking other ? but did check other i think brass tube is light and weight on rod isnt issue for me but i can find way to balance the seat and level before do anythings...
also i have find more tools at this store than order through mudhole or any of rod buidling supplies Josh Re: brass pipe/tube

I go to Wal-mart and buy a crappie rod for about $7. You can get a number of different sized fiberglass tubes out of one. Good for repair or extensions.
