I believe Gary Loomis started North Fork Composites after G Loomis became "G Shimano" and quit offering blanks.

Not quite, Gary sold part interest, and later full interest, to Shimano many years ago. He continued working there for several years. He only recently started North Fork Composites.

LIke many other notable fishermen and industry persons, Gary receives offers to do consulting work for various companies in the fishing industry. Temple Fork is one of those.

Tom said it all. Gary along with his son Brad started designing and building their own blanks again at North Fork Composites.

I thought Gary's son was building blanks for ATC. Maybe that was just when Shikari was there.

You're thinking of Bobby, Gary's nephew.
