I'm building a 50# class trolling rod for an up coming fishing trip....is there a rule of thumb when spacing rollers or is it the same with other guides....let static testing tell you where it should go

David,
A guide is a guide is a guide. Place the guide where your static testing tells you that it needs to be placed. Take care Roger Re: roller guide spacing

thanks Roger, thats what I figured...Ive been building for quite awhile now...mainly saltwater jigging and grouper sticks. Until now the only rollers i would use was on the tip...since i am branching out so to speak I wanted a quick check on my thinking before I went forward with the build.
