Angler's Roost Graphite Blanks

I know that Angler's Roost reels were just recently discussed for being a great value buy. I was wondering if anyone had used their graphite blanks and had an opinion on them. Thanks

Have not used them, but saw them and shook them at the Expo a couple weeks ago. Felt good and the price was very reasonable.

The graphite blanks are light and straight. The color is described as "dark brown", but I would call it translucent burgundy. VERY nice finish. The ERN is slightly on the high side of the marked line numbers. The AA is in the mid to high 60's.

The finished rods cast very well.

The only thing I do not like about them is that they have a silk-screened/painted "Angler's Roost" logo and blank info that is impossible to remove without taking the finish off also.
Johnny has these blanks made into finished rods as well as selling blanks so he hade the info added to permanently to the blank.

That being said, I still like and use the blanks as the price/quality point is fabulous. I just remove the logo and do a full color-preserved thread wrap over the location.
