Blank Identification, Please!?...

Hello Everyone.

I have been doing an inventory of all my blanks, most were bought at the ICRBE but some were not.
Either way I need some help getting specs for these blanks, they are:

1.Shakespear - 12-0236. 2. No Name - FS764-X. 3.All-Star - IGSH1322-2. 4.No Name - 1 5098.

5.No Name - 2 1089. 6.No Name - C723. 7.No Name - CA807. 8.No Name - CA7107.

9.No Name - BP7. 10.No Name - CA726. 11.No Name - SW709.

All these numbers were plainly written on the different blanks.

Any info about any or all would be appreciated.

Thank you All and have a good day!

Bob,

New Bern, NC.

Who did you buy them from? Most of the blanks sold there are first quality from manufacturers who also have space there. Number by themselves are not very helpful because nearly all the various blank makers use similar nomenclature.

A few of the bargain bins might have older or discontinued blanks, but the vendor you purchased from should be able to help you out.

The first two numbers are for length mostly. Then power and then number of pieces. But you would have to have the mfg. catalog for the specs on power and casting weights.

Hi Tom

A lot of these blanks came from my earlier years and were bought from many sources including the internet, so most I'm not sure exactly where they came from.

All of the ones on this list that I bought at the ICRBE were from Fish Sticks "Trash Cans" (good stuff) and I got a copy of the list that they had on the "cans" but the ones I listed here are not on the "can" list.
I've just started on my new shop (16X40) so it will be a while before I can build my CCS Jig and would like more info on as many of these blanks as I can.
Thanks Again.

Bob,

New Bern, NC.

I suspect you have a good many Fenwick blanks in there. I'd have to check the prefixes.

If blank number 2 came from Fish sticks?
It is an ATC blank
FS= Flipping Stick
(76)4 = 7ft 6in. -4 power Med heavy
X= is for the extending handle
This blank was supposed to be a copy of the original Shikari Flipping Stick blank. It is a good blank but unfortunately is it not even close to its predecessor.

If it is one you had it from years back? It could be the original Shikari. Which in my opinion was one of the finest flipping/ pitching sticks ever built
If you can post or send me a picture of the righting on that blank I can tell you for sure

Hi Steve

I belive it is but the person I bought them (14) from tore the extending handle off and stripped all the paint off, the P/N is hand writen on the blank, right now they are just over 6' long with 2 places on the butt where it looks like they tore the handles off.
I realy should not have put that one on the list, but I forgot that I researched it before and never found line weight or lure weight, just that it Might be the rods you mentioned.
The tips are 6's and just above the rip outs the butt dia is .460.

Thanks A Lot.

Robert,
I bought a FS764 from the trash can bin last month at the expo. The list attached to the can had it listed as a flippin stick. I think the lure weight range was 3/8 - 1 1/2. Not 100% sure.

Thanks,

Robert
On that blank (if it is a Shikari) it should be hand written, and is why I wanted to see a picture.
Also if it is an ACT blank those are almost impossible to strip. That finish is some type of poly coating. I've strip many blanks, but have only stripped one of ATC's and will never do another! Not worth the labor.
Would still like to see a picture.
