I curious if anyone can buy a power wrapper from american tackle company and can anyone use hand wrapper and power wrapper on same machine ? i recently give flexcoat a call and see if they has a 8" power wrapper and a extra 4 ft base and support and they does have and i'm not sure what to get between ATC power wrapper and Flexcoat both has different price ..
i think i would go with ATC power wrapper it cost 269 dollar and flexcoat cost 393 dollar
what is your recommend on 2 different of wrapper that can use with power or hand

Josh,
With most of the wrappers of which you speak, you can pop off the belt to release the tension and use it as a hand wrapper. However they will both have an issue when used as a hand wrapper since ther will not be any friction pressure to hole the thread taunt when not holding the wrap. You can hand wrap, but will always have to hold the rod to keep tension on it, if you take off the belt, or put something over the blank to keep the thread from backing up.

Each power wrapper has its own advantages and disatvantages, It is up to you to try to figure out what you need for features and purchase the one that best meets your needs.

Speed, ease of use, chuck, rod rests, are all part of the equation.

Good luck
Roger
