A friend wants a rod with a university of North Carolina theme. What color of blue should i use? What would be some good trim colors? i am going to use a N.C.decal from mudhole, what would be a good color to put the decal over so it stands out?Maybe not put over thread and just use the dark blank for contrast?
Thanks in advance for your help. Scott Re: help on thread color

I can't speak for the NC colors, but I feel sure you'll want to use a NCP thread OR use white paint under the reg. thread. Here's a pic of color variance I've found w/ the Gude. NCP lt. blue. I like the PacBay Stay True.

I have Gudebrod light blue 037 ncp and Pac Bay light blue Stay True over a silver blank. When in bright sun the Gudebrod seems to be washed out to almost blue tinted white and a tad lighter than the Pac Bay. I prefer the Pac Bay too.
