Nuno,

Based on the extremely high quality of the rods shown on your web site, It doesn't look like you have much to learn.
The only marbleizing I have seen whichis of the same artistic style and excellence, as yours, is that of Scott Throop
(a.k.a. Finadict), who also developed the renowned "Tiger Wrap" technique.

It's too bad that your web site is not in English, because most of us could learn a lot from you.

Incidentally, What is the availability of the highest quality cork in Portugal? In the USA, this grade
is commonly called flor and sometimes it designated Cork Grade #1

If you know of a Supplier, of this this class of cork, who will sell to rod builders in the USA, Please let us know how to contact them.

Best Regards,

Rena

Thank you very much for your words. I am starting to don't know what to say.
You are very kind.
About my web site/blog, there's a Google Translator on it that you can use.
Rana i really have so many things to learn with you all. American rod builders have been my inspiration for years.
The cork issue its something that i am trying to solve. I am in contact with a factory that use to make G Loomis handles and i am waiting for a meting. If i do business with them i will be glad to give you the contact. As strange that this may sound i have more difficult to guet cork in here that you have in the USA
Thank you again for your kind words about my work.

Flor does not necessarily denote a high grade of cork. There is no standard behind what constitutes Flor. It can be anything from very good to very bad and still be rated correctly.
