Yellow Eagle Claw or Wright and McGill Blanks

I have been searching for the old-school yellow fiberglass Eagle Claw blanks, and have not come up with much success. The rods (featherlight) are still in production, but I have not been able to find any blanks. Anyone know of vendors? I am wanting to build some trout trollling rods, and wanting to stay with fiberglass, and that yellow just screams nostalgia. Any other suggestions would be appreciated. Also, if those blanks could be found, what brand and color of thread matches the best? Thanks for any input.

Drew:
You could try Lamiglas.
They make a couple of kokanee trolling rods for like 4-8 lb test. They are around 7' 6" & 7'9", yellow, fiberglass, and very, very soft/parabolic.
The rod listings are the FC76UL & CG70DR. I don't see the rods listed as blanks on the Lamiglass website, but I would call Anglers Workshop and ask them if they are available as blanks.

Drew,

I rebuilt a set of these a few year ago and went with Coats and Clark thread Sun Yellow (#321A) with Gudebrod 5274 brown as trim.

I'd just get a blank with the properties I desired and paint them yellow.... That's the easiest way for me.
