Played with them at the show and have an order in. Looked at them pretty close and they were recommended to me by several fly anglers whose opinion I value Mike (Southgate, MI) If I don't want to, I don't have to and nobody can make me (except my wife) cuz I'm RETIRED!! Re: fly reels

I have bought a couple of them from him, and I really do like them. For the price, I don't think they can be beat. I have had a couple of people play with them and they are quite interested in where I got them. The 101m works reall well on my 6' 2wt and my 6'6" 2/3wt. Re: fly reels

Good reels. But can only be reversed for RH retrieve with a special tool But Johnny said he had those in stock and could send one out if you bought a reel and needed to reverse it. Re: fly reels

Just took one of the reels to Christmas Island for Bonefish, work fine, though after a week of heavy fishing the drag deteriorated some.
You do not need a special tool to convert to right hand retieve! All it takes is removing the bearing (I used a paper clip) and turning it over. Just did 2 for a customer. Sorry, only registered users may post in this forum.
