Batson Guide Question

Is there an easy way to tell the difference between guides? I assume that the letters in the guide name refer to something, But I am having difficulty figuring out what that is, LOL. For example, Fuji uses a for alconite and L for Hardaloy. What is the difference between Batson TCVS3TUG and TCVS3TLG? The reason I ask is I bought some guides at the show and apparently I didn't mark them well enough, DOH and would like to get more and of course the ones I bought aren't on their catalog.
thanks Tony Re: Batson Guide Question

Tony,
Based on the model numbers, I would say both have the same frame material, and the TUG has a Blue PVD coated zirconium ring, and the TLG has a hard aluminum oxide ring. Of course it would always be best to call and verify. Their part numbers can be broken down into sections TC - Frame coating (or lack of coating), VS3 - frame design, TLG - ring type, and usually the ring size is listed as a number at the end. After looking through their catalog a bit, you should be able to figure out what the various combinations represent. Joe Re: Batson Guide Question

Thanks Joe, I picked up some guides at the show and I must have miscalculated a bit. I got some:
B-TCVS3TU which were a blue guide ( I mistakenly thought the preceding B labeled it as blue and some TCVS3TL which were sort of gunsmoke with black rings. Re: Batson Guide Question

Drop us a line I would be happy to help. I'm suspicion you may have a color that we no longer sell however we do have some stock of the discontinued colors available. Our part numbers take a bit of getting used to but once you figure them out they start to make since. Karry Karry Batson Batson Enterprises Inc.
