The distance for me is to great to make the travel to the show, but as I live in Vancouver B.C. I was wondering if there is any thing that is comparable in the way of a rod building show in the Pacific North West.

Thank you,
Greg

Comparable? NO! Not even close! There is nothing else on the scale or quality of the Expo and thats a fact! There is a reason that people in your neck of the woods are willing to travel here to the East Coast each year for the Expo. There is nothing else like it!

But, this does not mean you cannot find or have a good time at another smaller rod building event. I think that Lamiglass is having a get together in April which should be a great learning experience. The west coast show people have announced a single day event in Pasadena next Fall. One or the other should be a good time and although not nearly on the scale of the International Expo any rod builder nearby would be doing themselves a favor to attend. Any rod building event is better than none at all. Always a good time and always the possibility of learning something new.

Greg,
Peter is right. There is nothing that compares in size and scope to the Expo but we do have a get together of rod builders that Lamiglas hosts in April. We usually get over 100 rod builders mostly from the Northwest but there are also a few from Canada. It lasts for two days with quite a few seminars and displays by other blank and component manufacturers other than Lamiglas.
You should consider coming and joining us. I am sure that you will have an enjoyable time. If you are interested contact Kendra at Lamiglas for all of the details.
