Here was there both days, told me he took over 200 photos of the event and had one of the best times he's ever had at any fishing related event.

I had the opportunity to spend a fair amount of time with Mr. Pfeiffer both at the ICRBE and over dinner Saturday night.
I have to say every year brings a different treat for me that stands out and this was probably it. Incredibly interesting person, entertaining, and full of knowledge. At the same time he wanted to learn from every one around him - especially about the micro guide phenomenon - while putting that into context of what h as happened in the fishing industry to date. He learned the cast of characters quickly and seemed to definitely enjoy himself at the same time. Thanks for your time Mr Pfieffer - and if you're reading this - some photos are coming this weekend. ----------------- AD Re: Boyd Pfeifer

Got to talk to him also-forgot to bring a copy of my book. He was incredibly humble and unassuming-he appeared to be mesmerized by the event and absorbing all of it. His book is available on Amazon for about $20 and contains a wealth of information on lure making, rod building and other fishing topics. Written over 35 years ago and still timeless. I really enjoyed talking to Boyd Pfeifer especially about how much the rod building industry has changed since he wrote the book “Tackle Craftâ€. Luckily I brought my Tackle Craft book and got his autograph.
Tom, please pass our thanks along to Boyd for attending the Expo - people like Boyd is what makes the rod building industry what it is today Re: Boyd Pfeifer

That is great news to hear. I'm glad that he enjoyed himself so much. The Art of Rod Building lives on as so many of us know. And many more are finding out that it keeps growing and getting better and better. Re: Boyd Pfeifer

I had the pleasure of meeting Boyd, and I thought he was such a special guy. I only regret that I didn’t get the chance to steal away with him to visit—maybe next time.
Thanks for being such a sweetheart Boyd. Silvia Davis Sorry, only registered users may post in this forum.
