Does anyone know of a source for pink fly blanks? I know Mudhole carries pink spinning and casting blanks -- but no fly blanks. I volunteered to donate a fly rod for a breast cancer fundraiser, and thought there might be some vendors that carry pink blanks, but I'm not finding too many choices. Maybe a paint job is the answer. Or maybe just build on a matte blank with pink wraps. Any help or suggestions would be appreciated.

If you don'y have any luck with the pink blank, why dont you just epoxy the pink ribbon logo at the base of the rod. I think it would be very understated, and at the same time make a big statement. There are many pink ribbon logos you could download of the internet. Re: Pink Fly Blanks

St Croix SC4/SC2 blanks are available in Fuchsia Metallic. They are not only a beautiful blank visually, they are WONDERFUL to cast. These blanks are the same as the new Imperial series of rods. In addition, to everything else ... they are an absolute steal. Easily worth blanks costing much more. Jason hit a solid home run when he designed the entire series.

Check out Elkhorn Rods. They have a very nice color shade of pink rods and blanks- without being "Barbie PInk". Much more suitable for big girls than the Barbie shades. Also a very elegant lavender shade and a spicy red as well. Elkhornflyrodandreel.com Pesco Ergo Sum Re: Pink Fly Blanks

Give Karen at Bingham a call. She had one of the Fuchsia Metallic St. Croix's in her booth at the show. I don't remember which model though. Sorry, only registered users may post in this forum.
