Hey guys, Just had a brainstorm thats working out pretty good. I installed the insert out of a #8 Alps guide in the end of my clemens thread tensioner. They press right in the formed loop on the end and hold with a spot of ca glue. The thread comes out noticeably smoother and no more screaching sound from thread friction on the spring steal Re: Clemens/Renzetti tensioner upgrade

Bill, that sounds good, I wonder if it will fit into my spring tensioner. Is yours a closed loop? Mike Thompson Thompson's Custom Rods It is impossible to make anything foolproof, because fools are so ingenious! Re: Clemens/Renzetti tensioner upgrade
