I was looking at a brochure that I got from MH in the mail a few months ago, and the CRB Split-Grip Handle Kits caught my eye. It looks like they would basically extend the blank a good amount.
I have a GUSA 703 DHX that has been cut down to 6'8". I'd like to extend the blank to about 7'4", and think that the CRB Handle Kits could help in this regard. I was just on the MH site, and tried to open the assembly instructions for the kits, but I kept getting a error that the file was corrupted. Does anyone know if these kits would fit my needs? I see that the casting grip shows that I can have the handle kit up to 20", or cut to my specified length. I'm thinking that I could have the tube cut enought to give me enough overlap on the blank, and still get my to 7'4" overall length. Does this sound about right? Thanks all. Joe post a link if you have one. I made a 702 7'6 by building teh handle on a piece of 15mm carbon fiber tubing and attaching to teh end of the blank with arbors. I also had to cut teh blank pretty short, like 6' sothat the entire handle fit on teh tubing. no problems. Re: Mudhole CRB Handle Kits
