Hi Everyone, Am new to rod building, 1 ultra light shakespeare rebuild and 1 complete build from start to finish,( for the wife ) under my belt. I have a favorite 7' saltwater spinning rod 15 or more yrs old that needs to be redone from reel seat to new wraps and guides, eva etc. Have stripped guides off carefully and was inspecting rod, factory finish is cracking and chipping. My thoughts were to just r and r the components, now would like some input on what i should use as a newbie to refinish the rod? Any info and input would be much appreciated. Also am posting pics of rod , need help wth identity of manufacturer and the blank letters/ numbers. Thanks Re: Lumiseal or Perma Gloss ?

They are similar, yet different products. PermaGloss is a little thinner, Lumiseal a little thicker (neither is thick like we think of epoxy being thick). Both cure upon exposure to moisture in the air.
I think either would work equally well. ......... Re: Lumiseal or Perma Gloss ?
