casting rod missing part

Hi all -- I'm missing a piece to my casting rod; it's the adjustment nut on the reel seat which tightens the reel to the rod. The bolt for the seat does not come all the way through the rod, so the nut would need to fit in to the rod to grab hold of the bolt. Does anyone know where I can find one? I can send pics if you want to get a better look. I'd like to find the part, if possible, so I don't have to throw away the entire rod. Thanks.

Dennis,
If you go to one of nearly any rod building shop, it is quite likely that you can either buy a nut that is an exact or near match to the missing part.
You may have to buy the entire reel seat to get the nut but they are available.

If you talk to nearly any of the sponsors on the left, they can likely help you.
Take care
Roger

Dennis... I'm missing a a part, too. It's that thing at the other end that pulls back. Who knew that Global Warming could be so COLD?
