The Northeast portion of the country is bracing for another possible hit this Sunday into Monday. Here in central New Jersey we had over 45 inches of snow in a week. I will attempt the trip to High Point as long as there is no state of emergency and the roads are not closed. A few years ago drove down in a snow storm that turned to an ice storm around washington. Worth the trip.

Snow is no stranger here so the city knows how to deal with it. It would be rare that the streets would be shut down or that everything would grind to a complete halt, outside of a bad ice storm.

The long range forecast isn't calling for anything like that at the moment, but it's hard to trust a forecast more than about 5 days out. We'll have a better picture of the expected weather by first of next week.
