Bingham SHX fly blanks

I searched for any info but came up empty handed. Has anyone built on one of these? A friend of mine is wanting me to build him a light saltwater fly rod and I was thinking of trying the 9' 4pc 7wt SHX blank (BFT907-4). I'd appreciate any info anyone has on these blanks (finish, straightness, light weight, comparable blanks, ect.). I'm going to be placing an order with Bingham soon and I guess I can ask them too.

Thanks.

Ben

206 views and no one has used one? Oh well. Maybe I'll buy one for myself and see what they are like and let everyone know.

Ben,

I have build on the SHX series but not the fly blanks so I am really no help to you. I do like the sj720 that I built though.
