Just as important to me as seeing specific damage photos and explinations was the MFGr's comments and discription of defects in the manufacturing process and what I as the builder should look for when I receive a new blank. Outstanding article Tom !! I was really in the dark on the subject of identifying rod breakage causes. I learned a great and much needed lesson.

Tom, thanks for another great issue. Fantastic article on the rod breakage research. I have had many broken
