Okay, out of curiosity I am going to try this thing with using a spatula for applying wrap finish. Before I go and make a mistake, is there a certain type or size spatula I need to get and where in the heck do you find such a thing to begin with? Thanks. Re: Spatula type?

Gudebrod has come out with a SST finish spatula for applying rod finish. We have them available on our web site, look under Supplies & Accessories in our Rod Building Store (a refresh the page may be required). You may also be able to find them in your local dental supply store or an art supply store. Tom McNamara Mud Hole Custom Tackle [www.mudhole.com] Phone: (407) 277-0099 Try WalMart. . .
