Has anyone tried the guide placement chart by Don Morton that is currently carried by Mudhole? I wanted to see if anyone had anything to add or detract hat would make it better? It is for concept and microguide placement but apparently can be used for anything. Thoughts? Is this a necessary tool to have in your arsenal?

The good thing about the Don Morton chart is if more guides means more sensitivity as being claimed by one of the new start up rod companies, you'll end up with a more sensitive rod with all those extra guides.

More guides = more weight = slower dampening = decreased sensitivity. Or am I missing something?
