I have seen some photo's before of reels and such that have been marbeled (Putter's stuff mainly) and I was wanting to do some sideplates off of a reel to match a rod, how do I go about doing this without the finish just sagging off the sides (they are beveled sightly on a 113H) and ruining it? Do I need to figure out some way of keeping it turning like my rods? Cant get it figured out in my head. any ideas?
Thanks, Rob Re: Marbeling a flat surface

Rob-roll up some tape to put on the backside of the plate-- attach it to an old rod's grip and put it in your turner. Its shape won't matter..it will still level Sorry, only registered users may post in this forum.
