Is Stoner E236 Mold Release safe in the shop where I finish rods? I looked at the MSDS and did not see silicone listed. Re: Stoner E236 Mold Release

It's loaded with silicone. Don't spray it anywhere inside your shop.

Thanks Tom! I was headed down to pour cores after dinner.
Do you think I can spray outside and then pour in the basement at the end away from the shop? It's 32 degrees outside with wind gusts to over 30. Edit: Maybe I shouldn't push my luck. I can run to my workplace and do it there Friday. Edited 1 time(s). Last edit at 11/25/2009 09:22PM by Chuck Mills. Re: Stoner E236 Mold Release

You'll probably be okay, just don't spray it inside and keep the tubes and cores away from your finishing stuff.

I speak from a reeeeeal bad experience, Dont even keep that stuff in the same room as you finish in and make sure you wash your hands real good after handling it in any way before you touch a rod you'll be working on Sorry, only registered users may post in this forum.
