I have a request for a bass baitcaster, 6'9" topwater. Planning on trimming a 7' blank from the butt. Any recomendations in the Batson RX7 line?
Thanks, Marc Re: 6'9" Bass Baitcaster for Topwater - using RX7 Blank

I have been using the ISB802.75 for that technique....works nice. no trimming required. Scott Sheets www.smsrods.com Re: 6'9" Bass Baitcaster for Topwater - using RX7 Blank

I have been using the ISB802.75 the last several months. An excellent blank! I use mine for spinnerbaits in the 1/8 oz to 3/8 oz. size. I have abused the rod just to see how it took the pressure. Works great and is very light. I know it would work great for many types of topwaters. Was thinking of building another for just that purpose......
