Any suggestions where to find the smallest first roller guide-the double roller closest to the grip? Re: Follow up Roller guide question

I'm confused, the one closest to the grip would be the largest one.
Nothing different about sizing roller guides. With a regular guide you wouldn't make it so small that the line only contacted the top of the guide ring. You want the line pressing the guide against the blank not trying to tear it off. Just saw your post below. It would seem a roller guide might not be the easy solution. Why does the customer want one? What pound test will he be using and what is he fishing for? What are the rest of the guides? Maybe someone here can offer another idea. I know it's the "largest one."-I just want the smallest of these so the feet will not extend so far over the old wrap. I don't know why he wants the first guide to be a roller guide. I also do not know why he is paying me $225.00 to replace the guides on a $50.00 trolling rod-I didn't ask any questions. Thanks for any input on the smallest double-roller guide I can find. What you may have to do is grind the edges of the feet away to make them slimmer.

Why don't you go to the " All American Roller Guides" web site? They are a sponsor listed in the left hand column. You should be able to find what you want there. Sorry, only registered users may post in this forum.
