Does anyone sell old school ferrules for bamboo fly rods, something other than the straight and ugly new ones?

Curtis, You can check out Angler's Workshop for nickel Silver ferrules. You can also check out REC Components for nickel silver ferrules. These two companies are sponsors listed on the left side of this website. If you go to google and surf for Bamboo rods, there are several rod builders who make bamboo rods and blanks who can provide you with nickel silver ferrules. Expect to pay$35+ for such ferrules.

Johnny also has some of the absolute best looking "classic" wooden (sculpted) fly rod seats in several wood types with either nickel silver or gold plated nickel silver fittings.

Angler's Roost has really done a job with their ferrules - beautiful stuff and the price is only a fraction of what similar ferrules cost. And, they're already fitted so no other work is required on your end. They're also a sponsor of this forum.
