As I was looking for a reel (Daiwa Saltiga Blast) I have come apon this web site: [www.artfishingmania.com]. The prices are way to good, but they don't have any info about themselves, where they are, who they are, phone number, address...but in order to buy from them, they want you to open an account and give them A LOT of personal info. Are they to be trusted as not selling returned or refurbished products and not to steal identity? Did anybody buy from them in the past? Please help before I loose the money or identity. Thanks.

I'm almost sure it is a scam. Those prices, I think, are possible but there's no profit for them. The picture of the boat/people looks like Indonesia or thereabouts to me.

There's been only one case a couple of years ago where a Japanese vendor slashed prices similar to the site you posted. They were shut down pretty shortly thereafter - not sure if by the manufacturer or because they were not profitable. That company was Ginrinpeche. Now reopened and much higher normal pricing. In that unusual case however, most people did get their reels. Killer bargains those.

This company you listed is brand new and has no history. I am almost 100% sure this is a scam. if you find out otherwise, let us know. There has been other cases like this.

I don't know of a legitimate business that requires "only Western Union,

SUSPICIOUS at best! Sure woiuld check them out prior to giving them any info

Email or call Zeebass and ask them if this company is a dealer. Out of all the manufactures on there you should be able to get someone at Zeebass the easiest.

I am fairly certain that Shimano would be interested to know they are selling Stella SW series for about 1/2 price. Then again.....they probably have no inventory to actually sell let alone ship to a buyer

I will pass this offer but I will call Zee Bass and let them know.
I wonder if this is the same case as it was a few months ago with a trading Co. in the same region that was selling audio-video equipment for very cheap...all the items being sold were the fruits of piracy actions.
