I propose Alex use his secret weapon to win the casting contest and then enters it in the truck drive over contest. I expect he'll be walking away with a couple of blue ribbons. Re: Seeker did not hold truck test.

If you want to break or crush rods, a sledge hammer does a wonderful job.
Also a 100 ton car crusher does an equally excellent job. Neither one of these have much use on a fishing rod however. Take care Roger Re: Seeker did not hold truck test.

Why would superior hoop strength equate to a better blank? Just sounds like more scrim and resin (not to mention weight) to me.
