I just had the first chance, since getting it, of sitting down to read through it. AWESOME!!!!! It answered EVERY question I EVER had about choosing guide sizes and placement!! I applaude Tom for putting this special edition together!! I also urge every NEW RodBuilder, if Tom has any left, to GET IT!! You'll be glad you did, I am!!!!

I believe I got one of the last copies. It is a compliation of the articles from Rodmaker and is an excellent source all on one CD. Even has some old hard to find charts and such. My only wish is that I could print this out and keep in my non-computer equiped rod room for a quick reference!

Funny you should mention as mine arrived yesterday. So did Tom's book and I started with that. The guides will be this weekends reading material.

Bill, mine is PDF based and you can print all the articles out.

You can print any of it for your own personal use. Just print directly from the CD and you'll be fine.

Goofy me...I thought it was a DVD for playing! Ha!

Tom, I sent mine back to you thinking it was for the DVD...and it is a collection of PDF files! Sorry!

I'll gladly pay for sending it back to me....LOL!

No problem. I'll return it to you as soon as it arrives. I guess I should also put a note on future CD labels that it is a CD and not a DVD, just eliminate any possible confusion. Thanks for bringing it up.

Thanks Tom. A printout will let me have in one handy notebook the same as I used to do with the individual issues! Much easier to keep up with. And the CD is easy to keep up with for when I spill something on my paper copies! Actually I have though that a DVD of some of the show seminars would be great but I understand the problems of producing something like this as does anyone that ever does any video recording. I may be missing one here and there but I think I have almost all the Rodmaker issues and can say it is probably the only magazine I regularly look something up in back issues! But the CD makes that a snap.
