Need your expertise!
I'm trying to put my signature and blank description on the rod that I just wrapped. I have a flex coated area over the butt wrap and I tried computer printing the signature on some rice paper that my friend gave me. The printing came out ok from the printer but when I tried to apply it to the rod with the Flex Coat, the paper expanded and didn't exactly lay flush with the rod. Is there a trick or am I using the right paper material. Suggestions? Thanks for your help! Re: Signature and blank description

I'm assuming that you haven't read any of the articles on making your own decals in RodMaker Magazine. We've done 3 such articles and each one focused on a different element of doing this in stunning and productive fashion.
The media you use must be suitable for use as a "decal" and able to withstand the coating you're going to be covering it with. This isn't a difficult process but there are some particulars you need to be aware of. There must be a couple hundred posts on this forum concerning making your own decals. Do a quick search under "decals" or "electric decals" and see what turns up. You're only a few minutes away from solving your present difficulties. ................
