Has anyone used 2 part acrylic adhesive for handles and seats? Re: 2 Part Acrylic

Just wondering why! What would be the advantage with all of the time tested products already being used. I haven't heard of any problems with products such as Rod Bond, Ultimate Gel, etc. Mike (Southgate, MI) If I don't want to, I don't have to and nobody can make me (except my wife) cuz I'm RETIRED!! Mike, sort of like wandering away from the time tested cork for handles. Ha! How silly to want to try something new or different. Re: 2 Part Acrylic

what is the attraction for two part acrylic? is it very clear? faster setting? more working time? levels real nice? or curiosity. Nothing wrong with all those things. Just wondering. Re: 2 Part Acrylic

It is just very accessible and very low cost for me, so if I could use it and it works fine, why not. Re: 2 Part Acrylic

Try it.
If it is still good in 10 years then it is worth using. Paul. I fish therefore I am. www.hookeduprods.com Re: 2 Part Acrylic

As we keep using epxoy, there is a fair chance that many of us will develop sensitivities that force us to look for alternitives. There are compounds in the 'old reliables' that can sneak up on you from repeated exposure. If you find a good substitute, I hope you post it. Any of us just may need the info some day. Sorry, only registered users may post in this forum.
