Most of the forums I frequent list the posts with recent answers get pushed to the top of the list. Even an old post gets put to the top with a recent response, threads that do not receive responses get pushed towards the bottom of the list. I was looking at the forum settings but didn't see where I could make that change.
I assume this forum is not set up like that? Thanks. Re: Question about forum settings

No it's not set up that way.
All the threads here get responses. We get about 100 to 125 posts per day and having all the older topics popping back to the top every time they're responded to did not work well. ........ Re: Question about forum settings

It is easy actually. I just look at the date. Easy way to pick and choose the days posts.

I agree with tim, i like the new posts to come to the top, but if you guys tried it and it didn't work, then that is that. Some forums i visit have a "new post" button at the top which make it really nice also. it will display just the new posts since the last time you logged on. I dont know if that is an option or not. If it is maybe its something that could be tried out. Re: Question about forum settings

If your browser is set to receive "cookies" then you will have a "new post" next to any post you have not read or since your last visit.

Set your forum view settings to provide you with the "threaded view" and you can see each individual post without having to open a thread.
.............. Sorry, only registered users may post in this forum.
