Has anyone found any new info on new G. Loomis blanks being available? Since his leaving Shimano there has been some tidbits of news out there. I found this link:

I was wondering if there was any new info at ICAST?
Thanks for any info-
Kyle

Seriously doubt they will be called "G. Loomis" blanks and use the fish logo...

The company is named North Fork Composites. There was a thread on them here last week.

Shimano bought the name and the logo, so "G. Loomis" doesn't sell custom blanks as of Sept or Dec. from what I understand.
See the link Alex posted, Gary is starting over it seems. Also there are some knock offs coming out from what I've heard.

For some reason my link to something on this board was removed. I believe the title of the thread used his name. Should be easy to find.

A link to another post or thread on this site would not have been removed. My guess is you didn't successfully post it.

Their blank catalogue is now posted on North Forks' web site. ;)

I just hope they produce some nice 13 to 15 foot steelhead float blanks as there are none in the catalogue.
I'm sure it's in the works though.

Regards
Dave
